About Melanie
Melanie has been a cheerleader for health and wellness for over 30 years! Her work as a personal trainer, fitness class leader and yoga instructor has encouraged people of all ages to make health and wellness their priority. After taking a break to assist in the caregiving of family members, she is eager to reconnect with past clients and welcome new faces to YOLO Wellness. She will be offering Seated Flow Yoga and Strengthen, Stretch and Smile classes, for women, on Mondays and Thursdays starting in September.

About Lori
With 13 years of learning, integrating and living all possible relating to nervous system regulation & restoration, together with guiding others in doing the same both as a TRE® Provider and Global TRE® Certification Trainer in Thailand, Lori is now offering a practice she calls Grounding Awareness, a natural fusion of nervous system restoration, TRE® and a guided presence practice. This 75-minute weekly group class is worth checking out if you’ve been wanting to directly experience grounding your nervous system and your self-awarenesses. Lori is known for her nurturing grounded presence and providing a safe open space. She is also known for her gentle yet direct and effective approach in guiding individuals and groups in rediscovering and grounding into presence and truth. Lori also offers private sessions. * TRE® is a somatic practice founded by Dr. David Berceli which safely reawakens the body’s innate vibrating mechanism designed to naturally release and unwind tension and trauma within the body. About Sherri-Lee
Sherri-Lee has been teaching Barre and working as a certified personal trainer since 2021. She's currently working toward her Pilates certification and loving every minute of it. Known for her upbeat energy and encouraging coaching style, she’s all about helping people feel strong, confident, and good in their bodies. Her classes are upbeat, welcoming, and
designed to help you push yourself (just the right amount) while having fun along the way. Whether you're trying barre for the first time or coming back for more, Sherri-Lee is here to cheer you on every step of the way to help you become the best version of you. About Cindy
Cindy is the founder of Luna Yoga and a trauma-informed accredited yoga, meditation, and breathwork practitioner who has shared these practices around the world. She believes movement is medicine — and that yoga is so much more than movement alone.
Her classes reflect her curiosity about not just how we practice, but why — blending diverse healing modalities, mindfulness, and reverence for the natural world. Known for her heartfelt approach and respect for yoga’s roots, Cindy empowers others to move through life with presence, curiosity, and compassion.

About Hollye
Hollye first found yoga while living in Vancouver British Colombia. It was the physical practice and Asanas that first captured her interest, and so she decided to dive deeper with a 200hr Hatha Training in 2014 as she returned back home to Prince Edward Island with the Maritime Yoga College.
Diving deeper within the theories of yoga and backgrounds of the practice, it was the meditative and interoceptive deep work that soothed Hollye’s soul the most. Passionate about sharing this perspective, Hollye has taught at a variety of locations and settings over the years on the Island such as Infrared (Dynamic) Fitness, Stretch Fitness, Hustle, Luna Yoga, as well as holding private classes and teaching for various sports teams and wellness organizations.
Hollye’s preferred style to teach is gentle yoga in a safe and welcoming environment with a focus on emotional regulation from her years of working in Mental Health. Her all time favourite practice and experience to guide is Yoga Nidra or “Yogic Sleep”- an immersive training she achieved in 2019. Aside from Yoga, Hollye is a full time Primary Care Nurse and a mother to two amazing little girls: Zoey and Quinn. She enjoys spending time in nature by hiking, mountain biking, and is a novice runner! Despite loving movement, Hollye will never turn down a cozy evening at home with some pizza and an old horror flick. Being true to yourself is key, but it is by creating safe space for authenticity within yourself through Yoga that is the true rich of the practice.
About Sandy
I am thrilled to announce the addition of Sandy Gurnell to our beautiful YOLO Wellness Lifestyle community. It is my absolute honour to be able to host a space for this beautiful woman to offer her knowledge through her yoga teachings. Apart from being the most talented creative chef in the kitchen at our yoga teaching retreats hosted by her sister Sheree (you may know her 😉), Sandy continued her personal development journey in 2023 and spent a total of 18 months living at Yasodhara Ashram in BC (a woman led lineage, started over 60 years ago). In 2025 Sandy completed a 4 month intensive Yoga Development course and Hatha Teachers Certificate while at the Ashram. In Sandy’s words, “Hatha has a gentle approach, ideal for beginners, or advanced. The focus is connection, awareness & relaxation.”
